Job Purpose
- To support the Early Years team in providing high-quality care and education for children in the EYFS setting.
- The EYFS Nanny will assist with the children’s personal, social and emotional development, daily routines and learning activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- This role is essential in bringing the Uppingham Hung Yen early years vision to life.

Job Criteria
Education
- Minimum of upper secondary /high school education.
- First aid qualification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of start date)
Skills and Experience
- Practical experience caring for children under 5 years old (professional or formal voluntary capacity)
- Understanding of how an EYFS school operates (e.g., routines, learning through play, observations)
- Previous experience in an international school or Western-curriculum setting (e.g., British, IB PYP)
- Experience supporting a holistic education programme (e.g., arts, music, outdoor learning, life skills)
- Basic English communication skills (speaking, listening, and following simple instructions)
- Computer literacy (basic use of email, word processing or school applications – desirable but not essential)
- Understanding of positive behaviour management techniques
