Uppingham Hung Yen welcomes applications for entry in August 2026.

We are excited to welcome you to our community as we prepare for Uppingham Hung Yen’s first year in Vietnam.

At Uppingham Hung Yen, we foster academic excellence with an emphasis on adaptability and skills to prepare our pupils for a prosperous future. We focus on holistic development and encourage curiosity, critical thinking, creativity and a love of learning.

Our campus extends the pioneering holistic educational ethos of Uppingham UK, a leading co-educational independent school founded in 1584, that provides a world-class education and has an another school in Cairo.

01 Visit our campus

We are proud to welcome you to our new campus. We conduct Visiting Days and Personal Visits and you can book in by filling out the form below.

03 Assessment interviews

After we receive your application, we welcome pupils for an interview on campus. Our staff will advise you along the way about how to prepare for this final step of our admission process.

ADMISSIONS POLICY

We are often asked what qualities we look for in a child who might like to come to Uppingham. The answer is enthusiasm! Pupils need to be prepared to get involved and to engage with the wide array of activities and opportunities that make our school so distinctive. In addition, pupils need to demonstrate appropriate academic ability and independence, which will enable them to flourish in the classroom.
