Parents / Guardians are required to notify the School immediately in writing if their child’s cognitive, emotional, physical, or behavioural situation changes in any way that is likely to affect their learning and / or interactions with their peers, staff and community. The School reserves the right to act on this information in terms of its resource capacity to manage the pupil’s learning, physical, behavioural and emotional needs. In addition, the School will seek, where required, expert and independent advice as to the child’s conditions and capacities. Any adjustment to the child’s continued enrolment at the School is at the discretion of the School and in accordance with the School’s resource capabilities.

If at any stage of the child’s enrolment, a child’s cognitive, emotional, physical, or behavioural condition places the School, its property, pupils, staff and community at risk of harm or places undue hardship on the School’s resources, and where reasonable support measures have been considered but remain insufficient to address the situation, the School reserves the right to consider terminating the pupil’s enrolment.

Pupils need to be prepared to get involved and to engage with the wide array of activities and opportunities that make our school so distinctive.
